The application is visually driven from the picture once you choose the crop all pests and diseases can be seen. If you can identify the pest or disease based on the symptom you can get the solutions to manage the problem.
In case you cannot identify the problem, take a picture and give your observations over text or voice. The application can identify the geolocation and collect weather and soil conditions data. Based on this set of information problem would be diagnosed by the experts and solution for management would be provided.
